About This Course
This course is nearly always a requirement for sub contractors supervising teams on a large construction site as requested by main contractors.
During the course the main topics of the course content are: The Health and Safety Acts, Regulations and the Approved Codes of Practice and Guidance Notes, The Health and Safety Legal System Causes, types and the numbers of construction accidents, Risk Assessments in all manner of construction circumstances such as working at height, demolition, occupational health, fire, electricity, confined spaces and the control of contractors.
At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:

your supervisory responsibilities in controlling site safely

risk assessments and the need for method statements

effective site inductions, toolbox talks and method statement briefings
